Is there such a thing as a free lunch?

Posted on Oct 12th, 2009 by Kevino : Philosopher Kevino
If we accept the idea that we create our individual realities, then we must so create in order to experience. One cannot "see" what one is not putting there to see. In that sense nothing exists without our hand in it.

However one can be freer to move about and experience at will. And in the course of that freedom, let others "do" their operation, which can lead to serendipities, however much we make our willingness to know them.

It is said that they offer them (free lunches) to low income kids in the schools, but I think that might be controversial… depending whether the heart burn, low nutrition, and weight gain count as payment.  (Wow, a lot of JUDGEMENT from ME there.)

Your subject is truly a “theme of the week”…  Personal power and choices are big right now, especially for those who believe in astrology and manifesting at the new moon (whatever floats your boat).  But no matter a persons personal take, the energy running around out there seems blatantly obvious right now.  Absolutely crazy stuff happening.

I notice that one of things I do “humanly” is countering the allowing of others to make their own mistakes.  Of course, they'll do it anyway.  But I generate and spend a lot of my freedom and will on this mute point.  That's sinking in.  Serendipity is one thing, a blessed thing.  But applying oneself where the other should be is a negative use of energy… I try to fix stuff… argh.

Many will argue adamantly that they are NOT creating the hell they live in, but the temperature of ones environment is relative to the capability to see from many perspectives!  70 degrees is damn hot to the penguins, and sends a chill to the dwellers at the equator.  I agree that we build our own worlds… and a lot of what we see is due to way we look.  I'm glad I created you in my world, Kevin!!!  (Oh, and thanks for the conversation in my wacked out dream last night… stop by anytime.)

You're welcome! I can't say I remember the dream. If I was there it was in a less conscious state than you were.
Let me know if I mentioned future lottery ticket numbers, though.
