My book is out, available through the above link.
The title is "A Spiritual Model of the Universe, Understanding Life Through the Basics". You can preview several pages and see the nice watercolor of a Maine Lighthouse on the cover-not painted by me, I assure you.

I believe we are all living our lives on a choose to know basis. We each decide not only what we do but what we know.

It is possible to understand the structure of this place and use that knowledge in the process of deciding what to know. The more information available, the more logical and useful our decisons are likely to be.

There is one right way to operate-your way. I hope this book can help in making that way more conscious and more fun.

How things are put together

Posted on Jun 16th, 2009 by Kevino : Philosopher Kevino
"Just as an electrician begins training with basics about electricity, so would understanding life begin with basic truths about life, then branch out into all experience and all understanding. As with an electrician, having knowledge does not mean all problems are solved in an instant. The electrician uses his knowledge to break down problems into components and gets the bulb to light from there. It may not be obvious what it will take to fix it. But his working knowledge is the tool that allows him to finish the job."

Excerpt from "The Spiritual Model of the Universe"

The Spiritual Model of the Universe is a non-denominational explanation of the engineering principles of our spiritual universe. Included are exact definitions of love, understanding, and spiritual growth, as well as the one and only unbreakable law in the entire spiritual universe.

As a bit of preview I can tell you that spiritual growth is real and attainable. You can recover yourself and everything you know and are, starting immediately, if you wish.
And you are never wrong in you anything you ever do. Sound hard to believe? Then you have a pleasant surprise waiting for you!

I can't promise you an "easy" path. But I can promise you that there is a path and you are on it whether you want to be or not. Why not know about it?
A preview of the book and ordering information is at the link below.
Have fun!

Creation and Reality

Posted on Jun 18th, 2009 by Kevino : Philosopher Kevino
We are creating this place and observing our reality of it every instant.

Creation and reality are two different items. Creation is making the entire picture. Reality is the part of the picture you elect to see. That is a portion of the whole. Everyone has a different reality. Reality is not agreement.

Our creation is on automatic, at least insofar as we need worry about at present. We create what we see but we also create lots of stuff unconsciously. We are creating, it simply is not necessarily our reality that we are doing so.

To understand more you want to see what is being created unconciously. You want to locate what is not presently available to you. That means expanding your reality, which means expanding what you are willing to see. You look at other viewpoints around the place who have a reality you are not aware of.

It is really very simple. If you enter an amusement park and go to the various rides you are gaining a reality on the park by understanding what is there. At the end of the day you "get" that park.

You add to your reality the same way. The difference is that reality has become identified with the individual. People believe they are their system of beliefs and understandings. They believe if they change they will lose a part of themselves. And they don't want to do that.

This actually can happen because people neglect a part of the process of looking at other viewpoints.

After looking, ALWAYS go back to your own to compare. If you don't compare you get lost in the park. You don't have you to go back to. The one rule of this place is that we each have a viewpoint. It is important not to violate that rule. Killing Buddha is a necessary component of understanding.

The above is quite obvious if one has enough focus to see it. This means one has enough overall viewpoint. One is seeing a big enough area so that part of reality is viewable. It is really just that simple.

We on earth are apparently crippled in the matter of focus. We decided to see smaller and smaller viewpoints till we got lost in the park as above. But all you have to do to reverse the process and see more is to start seeing more. That makes sense doesn't it?

Adding another factor into seeing would not make much sense. Just look. That is how the system appears to work.

If you cannot focus well enough or you want to get started looking faster there are focus "tools" available. Just make sure you check them against your viewpoint. Believe in yourself. We are all we need. My opinion.
